Abstract
Abstracts of meteorological data collected from the Hobarton Observatory between 1841 and 1854,
noting: thermometer (mean maximum & minimum
and highest and lowest, dry and wet bulb), humidity, barometer,
wind, rain, clouds, remarks. The Hobart observatory was set up by James Clark Ross in 1840 during the course of his Antarctic voyage and operated from 1840 to 1854.
