Abstract
The essays in this volume all point to the need to reconceive naturalismand to move away from the objectifying naturalism stillpervading large parts of political and social theory. A naturalism thatdoes not assume a transcendent knower or a Cartesian mind directsus toward understanding natural phenomena from entangled, immanentist,and at times anthropomorphic standpoints.
