Abstract
The dependent synusia in 15 forests plots on Mt Korobaba, Fiji proved better predic- tors of the overall floristic composition of the plots than any of the tree, sapling, shrub, or herb syn- usiae. The species richness of epiphytes and climb- ers per tree and sapling varies by host species, by the positions of individuals of species in the struc- tural gradient, and by the size of the individuals of particular species.
