Abstract

This chapter explores how a dissertation was structured according to the chosen research framework and research questions. In particular, the chapter attempts to address the following question:What is an appropriate structure for reporting a study of linguistic complexity in English textbooks, following the Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) approach, and adopting mixed methods research?
