Abstract
The most adhered to strategy in inorganic chemistry for
stabilizing reactive functionalities, achieving reaction selectivities,
and accessing novel structural motifs is the use of hindered
“nonparticipative ligands” to afford protection and/or force
unusual/desired behavior.
