Abstract
Letters from Ann Mather to her husband Robert Mather. Ann was left to manage the farm at Lauderdale with her daughter Sarah. Her sons were at school in Hobart Town in Melville Street on the site of the present Pressland House. The prediction of farming losses was correct. Ann died at Lauderdale on 27th August 1831.
