Abstract

This is an NRM funded project being run through Tasmanian Aquaculture and Fisheries Institute (University of Tasmania) in Hobart for a duration of approximately
12 months. This project is an extension of past and current work on environmental condition of estuaries conducted by the Estuarine Ecology group at TAFI. It builds on a similar project “Establishment of an Integrated Water Quality Monitoring Framework for Georges Bay”. We hope to implement a similar process with estuaries
and coastal waters in the Cradle Coast region, aiming to involve as many stakeholders as possible including councils, community groups, industries, state government and research institutes.
