Abstract
Photograph of gardens, possibly the Government Gardens bequested by Sir Ernest Clark. This photograph by Samuel Clifford could have been taken in the grounds of Government House when he was commisssioned to photograph the Duke of Edinburgh there in 1868. Clifford had studios in Liverpool Street, Hobart from 1859-1878.
