A Quarterly Publication of the Australian Association of Glass Artists

The Australian Association of Glass Artists (Ausglass) is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2009, coinciding with a National Conference in Hobart. Ausglass has an association with the University of Tasmania through Professor Arthur Sale, who has been a long-time member and introduced Ausglass to email lists and the Web, and continues to support Ausglass in its electronic activities. Tasmania was also one of the birthplaces of studio glass in Australia. The University is pleased to support Professor Sale and glass art by providing this series of online copies of the printed Ausglass Newsletters, commencing from 1980 until the Newsletter went digital. Later versions of the Ausglass Newsletter (produced quarterly) can be found on the Ausglass website http://www.ausglass.org.au
