Abstract

The other afternoon, feeling relaxed after a few drinks, I set off for a
bar with a young friend. As we came to the train station, a wave of humanity
surged in full view before us. I suddenly remembered something I'd read by
Mori Makiko and realized that this must be what she had in mind when she
wrote about "a sea of people.
