Abstract
Emilia Baeyertz was a Jewess who converted to Christianity in Victoria in the 1860s. She spoke to large evangelistic meetings in the next two decades in Australia, and subsequently in North America and the UK. This paper explores her early career, with particular reference to Tasmania.
