Abstract
Photograph in the Illustrated Tasmanian Mail, November 12, 1930 of Alan Sutherland Mckay holding a draught horse on which are sitting his children, Lillian Ruby (Betty), Alan Robert (Bob) and Eric Charles (Ben) first, second and fourth from the front, together with three farm workers and a boy. There is a haystack and cart in the background and the photograph was taken at the McKay's Cambridge property 'Uplands'. The photographer was William Fellowes who had studios in Hobart from 1923-1931. Private Collection.
