Valerius Maximus, Dictorum et Factorum Memorabilium Libri Novem, with the commentary of Oliverius Arzignanensis.

Early binding of beech boards, quarter-bound in blind-stamped pigskin. Pastedowns from accounts, partly in German; partially obscured by slightly later paper, the years 1592, 1593, 1603 and 1604 visible. Two brass clasps from the rear to catches at the front. Spine liners of manuscript.
